On 2 June 2026, the Medical University of Vienna invites participants to a practical open day dedicated to modern surgery and minimally invasive medicine. Held at the university’s lecture center, visitors will have the opportunity to explore different surgical specialties firsthand and take part in interactive training stations.
The program includes operating room basics, ultrasound, endo-urology, difficult airway management, and advanced simulators for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery. The event is especially designed for students and young medical professionals seeking a realistic insight into everyday clinical practice.
