The Department of Thoracic Surgery and the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at MedUni Vienna/University Hospital Vienna are delighted to welcome airway specialists from around the world to Vienna for the 5th Vienna-ESTS Laryngotracheal Course.

The management of airway diseases requires close collaboration between multiple specialties, including thoracic surgery, ENT surgery, otolaryngology, anaesthesiology, pulmonology, intensive care medicine, and interventional bronchoscopy. Therefore, this course is designed for all healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of patients with complex airway disorders and over the years has become an important platform for international exchange in the field of airway surgery. A distinguished faculty of renowned experts will once again provide comprehensive insights into current developments, innovative surgical techniques, and interdisciplinary treatment strategies.

As in previous editions, participants are encouraged to submit poster abstracts presenting challenging clinical cases, novel techniques, scientific research, or institutional experiences in airway surgery. Beyond the scientific program, the two-day course offers an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss everyday challenges, and strengthen international collaboration in a collegial and inspiring atmosphere. An optional hands-on course with a limited number of participants will be offered on 6 March 2027.

Abstract Submission and Registration will open soon!

We look forward to welcoming you to Vienna in March 2027 for an inspiring and exciting event!
